HISTORY

Established on February 26, 2005, the Nu Lambda Sigma Chapter calls Lake County, Illinois, its home, under the aegis of the Great Lakes Region. Our founding members, as listed on our charter, include Bro. Edward Morefield, our first chapter President, and Brothers Mark Jones, William Covington, Monte McDowell, Jamal Nelson, J.C. Gardner, Floyd Palmer, Nathalaan Jones, and Mark Bell. During this formative time, Bro. James Stephens served as the Regional Director, with Bro. Arthur Thomas as our International President.

Our chapter, comprising dedicated and professional men, strives to amplify the objectives and mission of our national fraternity. Through the bonds of brotherhood, committed service, and fostering scholarship, we leave a lasting impact.

Our members, driven by mutual respect, shared histories, and shared goals, offer each other unwavering support. It is this unity that enables us to work collectively and serve our Lake County community with utmost commitment.
